COVID-19 Information for Our Customers

Our developments are still open by appointment.
We have worked extensively with our partners and governing bodies to ensure a robust protocol of
moderated working practices are in place to enable us to operate safely on site. As a result of our
review, detailed operating procedures have been established, which are implemented across all of our
areas of operation. These procedures, which are rigorously enforced, have been specifically designed
to support the current government guidance. Should the guidance change then we will of course
conduct further reviews as health and safety has, and always will remain our utmost priority.
To support the return to work of housebuilders, the HBF has been working with government to
develop a ‘Charter for safe working practice – Covid-19’. As a member of the Home Builders
Federation we are committed in our compliance to this Charter. The charter demonstrates a
commitment from housebuilders and the wider industry to safe working whilst Covid-19 remains
prevalent. It also demonstrates government support for house building and sales activity and outlines
the measures that should be in place. This charter is available in sales suites.
Our developments and show homes are open by appointment only. In order to enhance the safety of
staff and visitors, whilst the wearing of face coverings is no longer mandatory, they are freely
available for use during your visit. You can easily book an appointment through our website on
development pages or over the phone. We have implemented a number of measures to help protect
you and the Shelbourne team all of which will be fully explained to you when booking your

Following our careful and phased return to work program, we remain committed in providing
you with the best possible service and are looking forward to helping you complete and
move into your home as soon as it’s possible. Site closures along with post pandemic
material shortages have meant that build delays have occurred on some occasions. We very

Moving into your home
For Customers visiting our developments on day of completion, we have increased the frequency of
our thorough cleaning processes as well as providing hand sanitisers alongside hand washing facilities
and boxes of tissues. Please help protect yourself and others by washing your hands with soap and
water or using hand sanitiser when you arrive and leave the development. We will complete your
hand-over whilst adhering to current government guidelines for social distancing. We would like to
politely request that if you feel unwell and may be experiencing Covid-19 symptoms that you make us
aware prior to handover as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers living in a Shelbourne home
We are now able to arrange standard Customer Care appointments. Our detailed procedures and
standards have been drawn up in accordance with guidance issued by the Government and Public
Health England. Please be assured that in the event we have to change our procedures in line with any
updated guidance issued, that these will be discussed with you prior to your appointment. We are
currently unable to enter your home if you or any member of your household has recently tested
positive for COVID-19 or are isolating. The only exception to this, is where there is an exceptional
risk to the safety of household but you must make us aware when you contact us.
